Patterns
1. Open your Paint Shop Pro 7 program.
2. Open a blank canvas. Make it the size you want.

3. Open the image you would like to use as the pattern. We will use this one here. ->

4. Click on the Color Palette, and click on the black arrow on Styles and then click on the PATTERN BUTTON

5. The Patter Palette will now open. Click on the black arrow the see the list of patters.

6. Choose the pattern you made.

7. Now use the Bucket Tool and fill the blank canvas with the pattern.

Custom Brush
1. Open your Paint Shop Pro 7 program.
2. Open a blank canvas, and make the image you would like to use as a brush. Here I will use the honey comb style one.

3. After you finished making the image you want to use for a brush, click on MASKS, then NEW, then FROM IMAGE.
4. Make it look like this. Click, Source Luminance and click Invert Mask Data.

5. Your image will now appear on a TRANSPARENT background.

6. Now, go to Selections on top, and click From Mask [Shift + Ctrl + Shift]. This will select just the honey comb.
7. Now click on the brush tool. and then click on the Toggle Tool Options Window
8. You will see this. Click on the little arrow on the top right corner. Then click CUSTOM

9. You will see this. Click CREATE and it will create a new brush from the selcted area on the image. Now click OK.

10. Now you have a new brush. Use the brush tool and have fun!.
